Born and raised in Huntington, W. Va.
Theresa's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from West Virginia State College. She holds a Masters Degree in Fine Arts, with an emphasis in Painting and Art History from Marshall University. Theresa's graduate studies are in Art History and Afro-American Art from the University of Pittsburgh.

Her art work and quilts have been shown in many galleries and shows across the country.

Theresa's quilts have been featured on "Simply Quilts" on HGTV (Home and Garden Television)

She is currently active in several art communities of Southern California and across the United States. She is also an active member of the Los Angeles Afro American Quilt Guild.

She is currently represented by the Whitney Amsterdam International Gallery, New York City and Haynes Presents of Sacramento, California. Past Years representation has been with the Agora Gallery, SOHO, New York City.
